How our workshops work

Each session introduces a regional folk art tradition from India, such as Warli, Madhubani or Gond. We share the history and symbolism behind the style, teach its core techniques, and then guide you as you apply them to an object of your own.

We work only with materials that already exist. Bring an item from home that deserves a second life, such as a tote bag, a terracotta pot, a wooden box or a piece of clothing, or choose from the materials we collect.

Reserve a place

Choose an event and the number of places. We will reply by email to confirm your reservation and share the venue details.

For example dietary needs, access requirements or the object you plan to bring.

This opens your email app with the request ready to send. You can also write to us directly at thepandsatelier@gmail.com.

Home evenings, by invitation

Alongside the workshops, we host small evenings at our homes that bring food, music and art together. They are the kind of evening P&S Collective grew out of: a shared meal, something to make, and time to talk.

These evenings are by invitation only, so there is no public sign-up.

Past workshops

Folk Art Edition I: Warli and Madhubani

Both sessions had the same theme: giving old objects a new life with Warli and Madhubani folk art. People painted furniture boxes, tote bags, terracotta plates and pots, and cork coasters.
